OK, Apparently i didn't learn when i had a grand am and it came with the orange crap. It gunks to all hell. So apparently i thought this other stuff, wasn't exactly the same dex-cool stuff, but it wasn't green either.

Wrong. it's just as horrible.

Now everything looks rusty (probably is too), and everything is stained with this orangy crud.

Here's a pic of my (non-functional) radiator cap. Everything the coolant has touched looks like this now.



the rad cap snowy effect is not an image artifact. that's how it looks.

 

I guess I'll just get around to having it flushed, then switch back to a different coolant.

 

get straight green stuff and use distilled water only. It keeps mine really clean!
