Dual fan question

I know this is a seemingly simple ,maybe stupid question but on TPI cars with dual fans does one of them run constantly while the other comes on during a/c operation or when temps hit 220+? I converted my LO3 car to TPI but it still has the large single fan that never comes on since temps never get anywhere near that and the a/c has been long since removed. I've been considering changing the fan package but I'm wondering if it would be worth the effort.

Re: Dual fan question

One comes on with the temp switch in the head, the other when the ECM program tells it to.

The single fan comes on only with the temp switch in the right side head.

Re: Dual fan question

I have the Flex O Lite setup for my 92 and it is a choice setup if you have the extra $$$. The unit comes with a seperate controller that allows you to setup what temps you want the fans to go on/off along with a toggle switch to manually turn the fans on/off
