What is the metal spring like thing in my lower radiator hose? Does this keep it from collapsing or something? I just got a new hose and it doesnt come with one should I swap the old one into the new hose if I can or do I not need to? Thanks guys

Re: hose

It's installed when made to help keep the shape. If the new hose doesn't have it, it's not required.
