RADIATOR COOLING DUCTS

HAS ANYONE EVER SEEN OR DO YOU POSSIBLY HAVE SOME INFORMATION ABOUT RADIATOR COOLING DUCTS THAT ARE SUPPOSED TO BE INSTALLED BETWEEN THE FRONT BUMBER AND THE RADIATOR CORE SUPPORT ON AN IROC?

I HAVE NEVER PERSONALLY SEEN THESE INSTALLED ON ANYONES CAR.

Your best bet would be to contact a racecar builder.

The setup you want is similar to a road racing setup.

Have seen them on alot of other 3rd gens.

When I get a chance will take pic of them.
Have to take pic from back as grille in place where

Yep, got'em on my 85 IROC. I noticed a few years ago that one was cracked so I went to the dealership where the counterman told me they didn't exist! I ended up scavenging them from an 88 RS, IIRC.

Re: RADIATOR COOLING DUCTS

Bad, look directly behind the fog lights on your IROCs and you'll see the ducts--they can also seen from directly above if the filler panel (around the hood latch) is removed.

Re: RADIATOR COOLING DUCTS

i took them out of two of my cars, never had any overheating problems. they needed to come out for the ram air boxes i made. only benefit i see from them is less chance of the air coming thru the fog light holes being sucked underneath the radiator rather than thru it, seems as though the air dam does a good enough job to not need the ducts.
