hey guys i have a 83 trans am and the thermostat got stuck and didnt let any water through so i replaced it. i also replaced the radiator cap with a new 16lb cap, anyways the car started over heating and i went to look for leaks because the radiator was low on fluid (but the overflow tank was full) and i couldnt find any leak other than fluid coming out of the overflow tank. i dont think im losing water in through a broken gasket because i dont smell anti-freeze out of the exhaust and their is no white smoke. any ideas? if the timing is set high can it cause this?
