Heater core hose location?

I have an 85 Z28 with a 305. The previous owner noticed passenger side leakage and said the heater core needs replacing. To stop the leaking, he disconnected the hoses. I picked up a new core but am not sure where the hoses go.

The hose I circled below is the one coming off of the core. The other core hose runs somewhere underneath - and I'm not sure where the other end connects (the radiator?).

Once the new core is connected, can you tell me where this mystery hose goes? If you look inside the circle, you'll see another hose that's connected to the radiator. I'm thinking the core hose (currently unattached) goes there, but then where would the radiator hose go?

Thanks!

The hose coming off the radiator will go straight back to the heater core. Almost forgot, this hose may not attach directly to the heater core. It may attach to a metal pipe near the firewall. I think it does this because the hose runs very close to the exhaust.

I forgot how crowded those engine bays are! Glad mine is carb'd.
