Re: ac delete

If you pull the evaporator from under-hood you need the a/c delete box. It makes a bunch more room on the pass. side if you remove it.

Re: ac delete

Bringing back a thread. What do you do with the wires that run to the compressor? How about the wires on the big alluminum can by the heater box? Also the blower fan relay is mounted on the box, where do i put that when i install my ac deleted box? Thanks

Re: ac delete

On factory non-A/C cars the A/C compressor wires were just tapped back onto the harness so they wouldn't accidently fall in the wrong place and get burned up by the exhaust manifolds or the crossover in the intake.

For the blower harness you can either install a non-A/C version or just mount the A/C fan relay to the non-A/C heater box and get rid of the wires for the A/C cycling switch.

Great info and thanks! Is the cycling switch the one that plugs into the alluminum can in front of the heater box? I'll try and find the wireing diagrams if i find time after school.
