My AC compressor is loud humming and annoying. It's mostly above 42mph-55mph and for whatever reason, it's not at all rpms but mostly around 1500rpms. So I'll cruise in 4th at 40mph or put it down to 3rd and above 2000rpms if I want to go faster.

Are thirdgen compressors a little hummy-annoying? Is there anyway I can put oil or something in it to quiet it down? I'm AC retarded so forgive my green ness.
