deleting A/C

deleting A/C

ok i have done a search, and haven't found any A/C removal instructions, nothing specific anyway, does anyone have any pics of removal or step by step instructions? i do have the delete pulley and the box is on the way

A/C removal is pretty basic, removing things like the evaporator might be a bit of a pain and there may be a difference with the radiator mounting once you remove the condensor as well. The process will be relatively similar with most cars in general and an A/C system is not entirely complex. In general, you have 6 general things to remove, lines, compressor, evaporator, accumulator, wiring (to the compressor clutch) and in some cases the compressor bracket (check the belt routing of a non A/C version, might not need a bypass pulley). Also, if the system is still pressurized, might want into having it evacuated at a shop so you don't vent the refrigerant to atmosphere (illegal in a lot of places).
