92 camaro blower motor hardly puts out air
All right where to began I have read alot of threads and have done just about all of the things talked about still same thing. Hardly any air movement in every speed lower speeds are worse. I have tested relay, resitior, motor. Went ahead and put a new blower in while I had it out cleaned as much of the coil as i could. Made a jumper hooked the blower right to the battery same thing. Also pulled the screen and used the vaccum down there as well. Relaced the gm screw up with heavy duty con. Anybody have an idea where to go next. I sure could use the help

Check to see if the motor is turning in the correct direction, there is a arrow printed
on some of the new blower fans if it was wired incorrectly then the motor will pull
rather then blow air. If that doesn't work check to see if it's locked up. You may
have to drill to inlarge the hole in the left upper bracket bolt, then shift the blower
motor to the right about a 1/4 inch this should free it up. Feel the input wires if
they are hot to the touch then it's locked up. Adjust from there with a larger hole.
I had a similar problem with a Canadian blower and the holes set at the factory may
be out off specification.

Blower turns in the right direction just no volume out the vents. Far as making sure it works its new. I had the same problem with the holes not lining up. Is there a possibility that I have restrication in the air box. When I had the blower out I cleaned out all the debris that i could.

If you replaced the cage confirm that the balance weights are on
and that it has the correct angle as with the one that was replaced.
Some cages are for car's without AC systems.

How clean does the air smell? Think your evaporator could be gummed up with crud?
