dual fan question

dual fan question

i have a 88 iroc tpi it has dual radiator fans... does anyone know the specs on these fans im looking for cfm and amps...
im asking because one fan is fried out and im trying to decide weather i sould just buy a stock replacement or go aftermarket???

In the aftermarket you can expect most CFM ratings to be approximately 1500 for 12” fans. 2000 for 14” fans. 3000 for 16” fans.

You might want to consider a racing fan.

Most automotive fans are wimped down for cost and noise issues.

Why not just replace the defective fan and install an aftermarket chip and low temperature thermostat to make it run cooler rather than spend extran money to accomplish the same task.
