Please Help
Does any one know where the cooling fan switch is on an 86 2.8 mpfi camaro? Please I need help with this, I think that I found it on the intake manifold but I do not want to pull the wrong thing.

I suspect a lot of people aren't as familiar with the V6 as they are the V8s on this site, so maybe that's why there's been a lack of response... at least, I know that's the case for me. But I do have a Service Manual, so I looked it up for you.
On the top of the intake manifold is the Coolant Temperature Sensor, so that's probably what you've found. It sends temperature info to the ecm.
But the Cooling Fan Switch is, according to the manual, "Lower RH(passenger side) rear of engine, above the starter solenoid." It says that for the V6 and the V8. But specifically, on the V8 it's actually located in the cylinder head, passenger side, between the last two spark plugs, which is in the general area of the description in the book. So I'd guess on the V6 it's also in the cylinder head, passenger side.
