rad hose connector leak

rad hose connector leak

i have a rad hose leak right where the hose connects to the rad, (pictures below) can any one give me any ideas on how to repair this?

If it's just the hose, replace it. If it's the plastic where the hose connects to rad, you'll need a new radiator.

since that is not a plastic radiator i would take it to a radiator shop and they should be able to fix it pretty cheap.

I didn't even realize it was metal - so used to seeing the plastic tanks these days.

ya its a metal piece so ill be able to get it resodered? if not does anyone recommend a certain type of rad for this car? that fits perfectly and no mods require that allows for better cooling maybe as well?

My radiator leaked there, and it was just that the fitting was lose. Mine has threads there that a fitting fits into, with a rubber seal in-between.
