What is the switch in the compressor

I have an 88 camaro IROC, 5.7L. What is the switch that plugs into the back of the compressor (high pressure or low pressure)?

Thanks

No, I don't think that is it. The one that looks like a plug that plugs into the back. It looks like a pressure switch to me. Just trying to figure out whether it is high or low.

High pressure cut off switch. There is a small snap ring that holds it in.
