TPI Coolant Flow Diagram Plz!
TPI Coolant Flow Diagram Plz!
I recently bought my 86 IrocZ which had 2 slung rods. I had the money saved up to rebuild it, and add a few extra mods. I dove in head first snatching it apart so I could get it to the machine shop asap and kinda screwed myself. This is my first V8 car and this TPI setup is rather funky if you ask me. I do most my work myself but I come from galaxy honda. dont hate haha. no but i got it all put back together and im rather impressed with the power its making. i drive it everyday just up the street and back. its got just a few problems. ofcourse im having the MAF relay problem. kinda got that one figured out. heres the thing. I think shes still running a lil funky because i cant get a reading on my temp gauge. i just went and bought a new CTS(coolant temperature sensor) plug it in and still no reading. reads that my car is cold after its been running for 10 or more mins sitting in park. now i live in florida and its 109 degrees daily around this time of year. i can barely stay outside to work on the poor car so this cant be the right reading. the car isnt throwing codes. maybe someone took the CEL light out? "smh" the only thing i can think of now is the flow of the coolant in the lines. maybe i have something plugged into an IN port which should be plugged into an OUT port and causing the water pump to work against itself? IDK I just need someone to draw up something or post pics of where your lines are coming in and going out because i cant remember exactly where they went to begin with.
i know i know...lesson well learned. :feet first, first time: haha dont dive in head first first time.
also please dont post dumb crap trying to get a cheap laugh. no one likes a smart a**. unless its me whos being one.
im trying to get this thing fixed
also this will give you brownie points by replying to this in full detail because i found other threads where people request the coolant flow diagram but they never got it because people just try to explain and get off topic. seems like EVERYONE thinks they are a mechanic for some reason...
