Fan temp sensor, compatibility?
Fan temp sensor, compatibility?
Hey folks, based on some things I read here I ordered a lower temp fan control sensor for my '92 Z28 convertible. I like the idea of the one fan coming on at 213-215 range versus the stock 230'ish.
I ordered the P/N below (D1855B), the equivalent of the rebranded SW505 (Wells, Autozone). All the online sites shows this is not compatible with a '92 5.0 TPI. I'm thinking this still installs without anything special, and it's just showing non-compatible since it's not stock temp spec?
