What's this sensor?
Hey Guys I have a 91 fbird and I noticed while I was replacing the spark plug wires that there is a sensore or switch the is unplugged on the side of my block on the PS. when I went to plug it back in the plug in part of the switch/sensor disintigrated in my hands (Guess 150,000+ miles will do that). Anyway, I don't know which sensor this is. I think it is the Cooling fan switch but I'm not sure. I have attached a pic of the sensor. I know that this is what it looked like before it fell apart. However I've seen 1 or 2 other switches/sensors that have this same or a similar connector. My engine is a 305 TBI w/AC. Please Help. I'm doing a cooling system overhaul and want to have everything in order. Thanks.

I had a feeling. I guess this could be why my car runs a little hot in city traffic but perfectly cool down the highway. Guess the fan hasn't been working normally
