my coolant never goes down in th eoverflow bottle but rises after a few days. when I remove radiator cap even after a day or so of sitting. I can here I believe air going into the reserve bottle,no coolant left in radiator. car runs hot close to red. why doesn't the car draw from the bottle when it is low on coolant and what is this air like sound going into reserve bottle. if it is air how is it getting in there?

 

Try a new radiator cap

 

If the cap don't fix it make sure you have coolant flow, water pump may be going out. Also check for leaks, internal and external. You sure the belt is routed correctly? Not sure if you can mess that up, but worth checking.
