91 camaro rs overheating
i recently just changed the coolant fan switch and bought a thermostat for 180 degrees. but the fan is not kicking in until it reaches 250 degrees. Is there any other things that could be affecting the fan not to kick in when its supposed to?

Re: 91 camaro rs overheating
did you buy a stock temp switch. and was it the one in the rear of the passenger side head ? i think the stock setting is around the 220 to 230 mark.

Re: 91 camaro rs overheating
Is it actually overheating (ie boiling over), or does the guage just read high. These guages, on thier best days, are far from accurate. I'd try a new sender for the guage if it's not actually boiling over (and 250 would be boiling over bigtime).

It started boiling slightly but i already switched the temp sender. So could it be that the gauge is reading it wrong?
