Do i need an npt adapter for aftermarket temp gauge?
Im looking to buy this gauge to use as an aftermarket temp gauge because my cluster is a bit jumpy sometimes.

I plan on plugging in the gauge where the stock sending unit is between the two spark plugs on the driverside head.
Will i need an npt adapter? like this one?

or can i just buy the gauge by itself?
Im not sure if it will be the right thread size.
Can anyone give me some info ?
Thanks

Factory heads use 3/8" threads.
Some aftermarket (Trickflow) use 1/2" threads.
If I'm not mistaken, Autometer's should come with a 3/8 to 1/2 adapter
