84 Z28 L69 single electric fan. I've got the fan working now and CANNOT get it mounted back in its spot!! Upon securing the bottom two bolts, I try to turn the fan by hand and it scrapes and gets stuck at the bottom of the mount. Then with the new radiator and top fan shroud, I can barely get the top bolts in. Earlier I had it all together, but the fan wouldn't turn because of the scraping on the bottom.

I disassembled the fan, motor, and bracket for the fan. Laid the fan on the flat floor and its pretty flat but not perfectly round. Laid the bracket on the ground and it also does not lie flat. I'm guessing that one of these is my problem since they should be perfectly round? Also probably the reason my factory motor burnt out if it was stuck. Did it warp from the heat? Thanks guys.
