Coolant hose rerouting ...

alright guys need some assistance. Just removed the heater core and blower housing from my 1987 GTA. It has the factory oil cooler on it and now i'm trying to figure out how to route the hoses right. Any help you guys can give is greatly appreciated. This is the last thing holding my up from starting and driving the car after a year long tear down and rebuild.

There is a going to- and a coming from- the heater core. Simply plug them off or get a u pipe and connect them at the inner fender. You should also look at re-routing the hot water away from your throttle body. That to is simple, just look at it and you will see where it goes in and comes out and just bypass it. I used good year high miler hoses from autozone.

It is not essential. If you plan on bypassing the heater and the TB, you will also bypass the heater control valve (located near the front of the pass side valve cover).

There are 2 lines for the oil cooler that both end near the right front of the engine. One of those lines will run to the rad, leave it as is. On the other one, run a hose to the front of the intake manifold.
