heater hoses

Ok been trying to research this and haven't came up with much. I have a Carb motor in a 91 firebird and I'm looking to get rid of the heater hoses so my question is do I need to have a return hose running from the intake back to the radiator and if so does it matter if its on the front or on the back side of the intake?

Re: heater hoses

Since your going total race car, You don't even need that hose. plug intake and cap/plug the rad fitting.

Re: heater hoses

Plug and cap or just run a small hose from one point to the other.

Re: heater hoses

The overflow tank? You can, I wouldn't. Coolant needs a place to go when it expands. No tank means it goes on the ground and maybe under a tire. Thats bad. If you cap that little nipple, the psi will build and blowout something
Use a overflow of somekind.
