Heater valve hose help!

After replacing intake manifold and valve cover gaskets and putting everything back together, I broke my heater control valve. Replaced it and all is well until today when it broke again. Im not sure why it broke, maybe i clamped it too tight. I have a new valve on the way, what I want is a stock replacement of the hose that connects to the throttle body, my hose fits well but not perfect. I need the hose in this diagram labeled #6. Anyone know what size hose will work because the connection at the throttle body is not the same as the one at the valve.

Just measure the outside diameter of each, go to your local parts store and tell them you need a stepped hose from one size to the other, cut it to length and you are done. Good luck

Don't know if it applies to your ride; but if you removed the AC, there's really no need for the diverter valve. You can simply remove the valve, cap the cooling pipe, run the hose directly to the Throttle body, and plug the vacuum line for a 'cleaner' engine bay.

Yeah. Need the valve i have a.c. and Live in cold weather I don't want a frozen throttle body. Just checking if I could find a direct fit oem replacement.
