Engine: V6 2.8 multi-port and V8 5.0 FI
Transmission: 5-Speed and Automatic
Axle/Gears: no idea
will a code display for a faulty coolant sensor?
if the coolant sensor that turns on the coolant fan is faulty, will it display a code or just be faulty and not turn on the fan.

Not all VINS are the same, and I see he has at least 2 cars.
The Fan Switch is indeed “just an on/off ground switch” however some VINS use a CTS for a fan, which will set code 14 or 15 depending on mode of failure.

If Your Communications Antenna Is Not Shaking At Idle, Your Cam Is Too Mild
