Original Radiator

My original 1989 radiator finally started leaking. I am so bummed out. It even has the May, 1989 date stamp on it.

Am I the last remaining original owners with the OEM radiator. Probably......

You are lucky to have any original parts left. My guess is you don't do any maintenance.

Oh yes, I got 25 years from the original radiator without ever changing the antifreeze. And even more impressive, I got 25 years on the original motor without ever changing the oil.

Re: Original Radiator

If the leak is in the cooling tubes you can have it repaired then you can brag about your original 1989 radiatorunless its rotted to hell then youre in for a new one.

Re: Original Radiator

My original 1989 water pump just went. Pissing out the weep hole. The factory black paint still looks pretty good on the water pump.
