Hello all. Just bought a 88 iroc 5.7..has overheating issues like a lot of ppl do with these cars. My question is that when I went to change thermostat it had a 160 degree one in it? Isn't the factory about 190-195? Does that mean somebody maybe put a chip in computer? Pretty sure I've read that before. I was planning on putting in a 180 degree therm. Will that screw things up if it does have chip? I can't see how a 160 would ever keep one cool
