installing the stock air deflector
Hey guys, ive got this part pictured below missing from my car and need to install it, hopefully it will bring my engine temp down a bit like it used to be. I stuck my head under the bumper the other night to have a look but cant see how or where it mounts exactly.
I might be overlooking the obvious but the mounting points didnt seem to be anywhere near any holes to bolt it too ? If anyone has any pics of it mounted on their car it would be much appreciated
Its an 87 Trans Am, thanks

Re: installing the stock air deflector
that part can be installed, but you need plastic push pens, and it is mounted on the sides but you might need to remove the nose to gain access, it is not an easy process to do from under the nose, plus that open center slot is where the slam tray support sits right in-between, so in all likely hood, you would need to remove the nose and this way you can then clearly see how it fits in*

Re: installing the stock air deflector
I got it back on no problem, im missing the side pieces though so its only held onto the crash bar. i also added the extra lower part of the air dam to see if it helped cool the car on the move but it made no difference.
Hopefully this 3 core radiator will help when i get it
