Replacing A/C clutch cycle pressure switch
Hello,
I had my 1987 Camaro into the shop this summer as the A/C had stopped blowing cold air. The refrigerant had leaked out as there was a bad O-ring. The shop refilled the A/C and the technician also noted that the low pressure switch wasn't working. After some searching I was able to get a new switch but wanted to check with you guys to see if I need to take my car back to the shop to have the new switch installed or can I do this myself? This might be the least intelligent question I have ever asked on here, but I am not sure if the A/C system needs to be evacuated for this particular switch or not.
Thanks.

Unscrew it, put new one in. There's a schrader valve on the port to prevent refrigerant from escaping.
