Crush the hot-side heater hose (the one that comes off of the intake manifold) and see if it changes. Yes it could be something with the blend doors.

Re: airconditioning help please

I have some what of the same problem but not sure where to start. My car , when I bought it had no AC compressor or AC lines. I bought all new AC stuff and had it installed today. Now for starters my blower motor won't work on high. I've replaced the motor and resistor so I assume its the switch. As for the other problem. My air only comes out at the defroster vents no matter where the controls are set. Anyone with some helpful input would be greatly appreciated.

Re: airconditioning help please

The vents default to defrost when there's a vacuum leak. Happy hunting!
Often the valve behind the controller is what's leaking also if you can't find a leak anywhere else
