AC 4 Season 58229 Compressor HELP!

Hey everyone, help required URGENTLY!

What gasket do I have to use to get this compressor to work with my stock AC system.

It says everywhere that this is the compressor to use, and it fits totally. But when you come to hook up the actual AC pipes they're a different design and size than the areas on the pump.

Anyone used this?

Cheers,
Rich

Looks exactly the same as the stock one, except slightly different.

You need some of these:

Amazon Amazon

The compressor should have come with them.

AZ, Advance, NAPA, etc. will have them. They come in a little plastic bag, as a kit. Not sure how to look them up though. Probably located on the shelf very close to the compressors. Print out a photo and the part # (the place you got the compressor from probably has this exact part #) and tell them you need "this".

They didn't even wrap it properly so the box was shredded by the time it arrived here, so I'm not surprised the bits are missing.

Cant get them here in the UK I'm afraid! Any more ideas?

You will need those sealing washers as sofakingdom gave the link to.That is the only way the compressor will work,I dont know why or I cant remember why they started making compressors like that. I first saw them back in 96' when I worked at a chevy dealership and the compressor's were made by Delphi back then. The compressor I just put on my 88'had to have those washers on it too.

I would try ebay, look for a/c compressor sealing washers.

I've ordered the 4 seasons 21000 gaskets as one of the million listings on eBay recommended them for the 85 Firebird 2.8 application! Wish me luck.
