Hey guys,

Im about to convert my entire AC over to a Sanden 508 and Universal Parallel flow condensor, so I will have to make some custom lines. But I cannot find ANY information on the sizes of the stock fittings I will need to connect to:

Compressor to Condensor
Condensor to High side hardline fittings
Accumulator to compressor fitting

The fittings are ... the size that they are. They're not "universal", like, you can look them up at Summit or something. Best thing to do will be, use a wizz wheel and cut the crimp ferrules off of your stock lines; and re-use the sections closest to the evap. Make, or have made, new metal sections that fit your new compressor and condenser.

Neither end of that line will be stock. Check the info that came with your new compressor and new condenser. Nobody out here is going to know that.

A useful strategy might be, go to the junkyard and find a car with the same kind of compressor, and gank the line manifold off of it. That will get you everything you need except at the condenser ends. Then use "barrier" hose to connect that to the stock pieces that you will re-use, as described above.

I know the fitting size on the compressor and the condensor. Thats not an isuse. The issue is tying into the two places with the old parts, like at the accumulator/suction line joint and the liquid line/condenser joint.

I just gathered that the accumulator is a #12 O-ring so I will see if that fits.

Im trying to replace it all with ez-clip if I can. So I really am trying to find the size used.

At the bottom of the list are the SD5 series compressors. They show a 509. Assuming this is like your 508, go to this .pdf.

Thanks, but its not the Compressor fittings I cannot find info on. Its the connections in the stock lines that I listed.

did you ever sort out the size of the stock fittings. the bottom of the evaporator is the one I'm wondering about?
