Mode selector vacuum

Hello if this is duplicated I apologize. I have searched for quite some time looking for this information. The vacuum for the Heater mode selector for an 84z where is its entry point into the cabin? and where is the Initial connection into the heater. I see the colored lines but where does the vacuum line actually mate ri the colored lines in the system. Everything was removed before my purchase. Thank you in advance.

Re: Mode selector vacuum

The vacuum into the cabin is one of those small hard plastic lines. It's in the wire harness right below the heater core hose connections on the firewall.

Re: Mode selector vacuum

Thank you for the reply. The original harness is completely gone. I need to run a vacuum source into the dash and was looking to know where it connected to the heater vacuum lines.

Probably the best thing you can do is go to the junkyard and get that harness out of a GM car of about the same age. It'll come with what you need, including all the wiring that you evidently don't have either.
