What are all the things the computer does? I know it controls the carb, distributer advance, but what else does it all cover. I'm going to put my car back together without a computer so i want to know if i'm going to have to do anything else different, or if i'm going to loose use of anything. Thanks.

In your case, it controls the carb (idle circuit), ignition advance, and emissions.
