Do I Need The Computer?

I have an 88' Firebird. I pulled the 305 TBI for a 76' 400 Carbed. (Still to be installed) Will I need the computer for anything?

Well, I am sure you are not concerned about emmisions since you are stepping back 30 years in technology. The stock computer will purge the canister. I believe that the VSS on a TBI car is separate from the ecm so you are good there.
