FMU

just make sure it has a stop on the high side. I don't know how much boost your running but i have a d1 with 15#s and ATIs FMU sucks the fuel perssure will go off the scale 100+. and there way to ajuste it is an air blead set screw very touchy. spend the money and get a good one your pistons will like you for it.

ford injectors
24#s blue
30#s red
36#s dark blue
42#s green

if you have fords

never use an gm injector over 50psi there junk

Hey, now that's a well kept secret.

Hmm, but what did they use in the Syclones, Typhoons, Sunbirds, GNs, and Ttypes?. They all run over 50 PSI FP at full boost.

If you check on the syty board back a few years ago they sent some stock syclone injectors to Kinsler and they were linear all the way to 125 PSI.
Not to mention a slew of 10 sec GNs running Delphi 50s.

40, red stripes are a nice injector.
Might try looking at the GN sites, and pick up a couple sets of used ones, and try them. Buying two sets from a GN gives you spares. And if you're not happy sell them off and get some others.

If you want to try to find 8 injector from a 6 what do you do with the left over 4. I thought GN guys wanted an arm & leg for everything. so I wasn't thinking anyone would do that. I was talking about the ones off NA v8s four times I've seen them lock up at about 60psi some a little more some a little less.
I only know a few people with GN and none are very fast.
the fastes one in full race mode goes 6.90s in the 1\8 mi best pass. thats fast but he won't go to the 1\4 becouse its to on the edge to stay to gether for that long. on the street on pump gas I don't think it would be in the 12s in the 1\4. so I didn't even think of them. also they don't have FMUs I think the fuel psi only goes up 1lb per lb of boost . The computer changes the time the injector is open. You would have to run a lot of boost to run 125psi or even 90 like superchargers seem to run. I guess GM would put better injectors in there turbo cars but you know they didn't change the botton end of the 4.3 when they added the turbo so with that and putting a 7 1\2" rear end in a z28 that almost runs 12s off the show room floor they do put alot junk in there cars. I try to go after market when ever I can but everything breaks from time to time.

Sorry to any GN guys for not thinking about you.
