Few questions on ECM

Firstly, where is the ECM, how hard to locate and get at it? *haven't looked myself yet to cold outside lol* Can anyone reccomend a good chip for a pretty much stock auto 305 TBI?? Thanks.

Sir , you probably will not get any reply's to this because you asked a question to which the answer is easily obtained . This might sound insensitive but ( believe me I am being gentile compared what other would say ) try doing a search ..... use the words ECM + TBI+ location ..... I don't know if that will help .

I my self dont know where your ECM is but ....... form all the SEARCHES I have done lately on chips and whatnot, for a stock set up on a TBI ..... the only chips you might have access to aren't really going to help you that much ....except at WOT ...maybe a little more snap to the thottle .... that is about it . Worry about a chip when you upgrade something else ....... or when you come to a final decision on what you want in this motor ....then look for a chip ( I am trying to burn my own) . It sounds easier and easier everytime I do a SEARCH about it

best of luck to you friend

The search engine is still down ... and oh how I would love to use it right now .

I don't know where your ECM is but on my model it is on the passenger side behind the paneling above where the passengers feet would rest. Try looking up under the paneling and you might see a glimpse of it.
