speed limiter??
speed limiter??
Why does my speed limiter kick in at 120-125mph and change for a sec to 4th gear. when the speeds back to 115mph it lets the engine pull again to 120-125mph in third gear.. weird?? is this normal??
come on guys... you must of hit the limiter some time??? is my ecu wierd in this sence or is this normal...
I olso got a ses light yesterday while cruising on the highway.. i stoped the car and tryed to pull the error code but there weren't any and i haven't seen the ses light since... wierd...

my 91 z28 had a speed fuel cut but mine was at 106 its in the chip some where. i got a new stock one out of a friends car when he got a aftermarket one. has somethimg to do with what tires came on your car. if they were z rated you didn't get it
It was actually if it had the 140mph-Firebird or the 145mph-Camaro Speedometer installed at the factory. The Speedo seems to be the the determining factor. I know that the vast majority that had the speedo came with the z-rated rubber, but not all. The speedo was an option and the z-rated tires were also an option.

So there might be a 1-7 MPH area where the engine is *off*.
Depends on the tire option of what the car was originally equipped with. They didn't want you running at 140 with a tire rated to 85.
