ok ive decided its time to do this, what cable do i need to hook my desktop pc up to the aldl/ecm in my car......to hell with buying a lap top , ill just take 5 mins and carry my pc to the garage lol....what cable and what software??? i am trying to troubleshoot why my car is running weird, and NOT giving me a SES light, ...would doing all this even help figure this problem out????

 

If your going to run EFI, you might as well spend the $50 for some old laptop, and get used to using a scanner.

The cost of getting a scanner wil quickly be recovered in not having to constantly guess what the car is actually doing.
