Recommendations please

I currently have a '91 RS with a TBI 305 in it and I have started building a 383 stroker for it. I am using forged internals, expexting close to 550 hp and capable of supporting a 250 shot of "da juice." Anyway, I already have a LT1 intake that I am going to have converted over for the trad. SBC and the only part of this build up that I havent figured out is............What in the heck am I going to use to control all of this ? I have read on here for about 3 days straight now and checked out a bunch of diferent systems and I can decide which direction I should go. Is there anyone here running anything similar to what I have started to build ? If so, what kind of programming are you using ? Would I be better off just buying a GM computer and try my hand at burning my own, or should I go with an aftermarket unit ? Every little bit will help here so any info will be appreciated !!

Thanks
Stryker

For 800 HP, go with the aftermarket.

Learning to play with EFI first time around at that HP level, you'll want to have simple tuning.

Think propane and juice.
Both being gases they get to the engine at the same time, with out fuel lagging the juice.
