Holley Commander 950 pricing.
I'm considering the leap into aftermarket ECM's.
Thinking about the Holley Commander 950, part numbers 950-101, 0r 950-115.
Who has good pricing on these? Summit is usually good, but living in Ohio, add at least 6 1/2% to their published price due to taxes.
Thanks

I am putting Fuel injectrion in my '71 Chevelle. I ordered the 950-101 from www.SDPC2000.COM. Great price, but that was 4 weeks ago. When I ordered, it was supposed to ship next day direct from Holley. A week later, it was due to ship in two weeks. Two weeks later (yesterday), guess what? It should ship in 2 weeks. I talked to a couple of other dealers, and they can't get any ECU's out of Holley either. It's so bad, some of them are speculating that Holley may get out of the ECU business.
I started looking at ACCEL, but there is no info on thier web site about what part numbers I need. Called thier help line several times with no answer. Called an authorized installer, and he said that he would have to call them to find out which pieces I need, and it could take a few days because they do not answer the phone.
I hear the FAST system is great, with good service, quality and tech support, but it's twice the price of Holley.
I'm gonna get a used GM ECU, Painless harness, and all the stuff to program it. It will cost a little more, and take a little longer to learn, but if it ever breaks, I know I will not have to wait weeks for parts.
