92 fastchip in 89

92 fastchip in 89

i recently purchases a fastchip from a member on your classafieds. I was told it would work with any tbi 305. When i recieved the chip is is for a 92 305 tbi fbody. I have a 89 305 tbi. will this chip work or not?

It should. I have an 89 RS and it used to have a 305tbi. I took my chip out (Hypertech) and gave it to Revlimit. He put it in his 91 tbi and it worked great. Should be OK the other way around.
