do you have to buy the wideband o2 sensor from accel to use the wideband option or can you get a sensor from some where else and just use the accel harness?

Good question. I am all but positive that you have to use Accel WB O2. It would be nice if yo could use one of the less costly O2 sensor.

You need the ACCEL wideband. It comes with a signal conditioner that the DFI needs in order to read the sensor signal properly. Any other type will not be interpreted correctly by the ECM.

Does this signal conditioner improve the sensor in any way?, or is it just perfecting the art of seperating customers from their money?.Originally posted by aDFIguy

Looks like buying Mag Wheels as an option but having to go to GM for spare air if you need to inflate a low tire. LOL
