Spark vs. Fuel

Does spark advance have any relation to BLM's or the integrator? i.e. if I'm running a buttload of advance, could that give me blm's on the lean side?

I'm running 24lb injectors in my 355 with ARAP. I've bumped my injector constant up to 23 lbs and my BLM's and int are reading about 132 & 129 respectively.

Just trying to find out why I have to tell the ECM that I have smaller injectors then I do to keep it from running lean.
BTW - it was an engine swap from a 305.

telling the ecm you have smaller injectors will cause the ecm to think its metering out less fuel then in really is because the smaller injectors will flow less and need to be held open longer to give the same ammount of fuel flow as the larger injectors. This causes you to run richer.

I understand that.
I started out with 305 programming. I changed the bin to the ARAP code and am up to 23# in the programming out of 24#. According to my BLM's, I actually need to be a little smaller than 23#.
So if I bump up my constant to 24#, which is what I'm running, I'm going to run lean.
Does spark advance have anything to do with this or do I have a problem somewhere else?

misinterpreted your question, sorry.

From what i understand, it could have some effect on how completly the fuel is burned but it shouldnt be as large as what your seeing. Could be wrong. Have you altered your VE tables yet?

Haven't altered them at all yet. I've been messing around with a lot of other little things first. I was also trying to get to 24# before fine tuning with the VE tables. That and I still have to do a lot of reading on them.
I thought I was supposed to set the constant to the size injector I'm running before messing with the VE tables. Am I wrong?
