VATS

I can change the VATS in less than 5 minutes, and send the binary file back to you, that the easy part.

Be sure to take the cover of the ECM and take a picture of how the MEM-CAl is plug in and it's orientation.

If you're really serious and have actually eliminated all other possible causes of a no start, you'll need the following:
1) A prom burner

2) A used MEM-CAL module, or if you got ***** erase the one you have, just peel the sticker of the chip's window, and put it under a black-light for about an hour, or so.

3) An adapter to plug the MEM-CAL module into the burner.
The chip is soldered into the MEM-CAl module and will not plug into the prom burner's Zero Insertion Force (ZIF) socket. You'll need a connector like the one in these pictures.

With the burner copy the chip to a binary file on your PC, sent it to me, I'll sent it back, then download to the burner and copy to the erased chip, and if this is what was wrong you'll be on the road again in no time!!

In the mean time I'll search the web for your calibration file if you send me the alpha-numeric code that's on the chip sticker, I'll modified it and send it to you ASAP, the rest up to you.

Mine is an 88' IROCZ the EPROM number is ABYA, but mine didn't have the VATS enabled, or a pellet in the key.)
