limit of RPMs?

what is the highest RPM our factory computers can compute to? 730 is what im using. i heard that our computers arent fast enough to compute past like 6500 or something, is this true? i didnt think it woul be a big deal since we are batch fire and our ignition runs off of a distributer but hey i dnt know. i tried doin a search but didnt come up with anything.

Most (all?) of the TPI calibrations have the rev-limiter set to 9800 RPM or so. The limiting factor isn't the computational speed of the ECM, it is the resolution of the 16 bit counters running at 64KHz.
