I ordered my OBD1 cable to use with my Dell Latitude CPi A400XT, the laptop doesn't really matter, focrouse more power, quicker things are done on the OS which could mean changes quicker on the software and such but I've seen pictures of a tuning company from the states using my old Compaq LTE 5200 I have as a server, things only got 120mhz and 40mb ram but it will do the job!
I might try it out, if it works on my old laptop then I am going to use my old one since I can make a few $ off this one for parts.
I plan on using EFILive but if I find any other free tuning softwar eout their for OBD1 I will surely give it a try and let you know if it works or not.
