Fuel injector drivers
If my fuel injector drivers are bad is there a way to test them. If they are bad how can i get them repaired and who can do it and for how much? Thanks.
Problem: The car starts fine, idles fine, after running for a minute or so it runs rought at higher rpms and if it is turned off it will not restart. the #7 injector is a 3 ohms, and number #1, and #2 injectors are at 13 ohms, all the others are at 16 or 17.
I disconnected the 3 ohm injector, ran it, turned it off, but it would not restart.

Since you KNOW the injectors are bad (low impedance on 3 of them, and who knows what kind of spray pattern on the rest,) replace them and then worry about the ECM.
The only way I know of to test the drivers is to use a testlight to see if there is a ground pulse signal at the ECM side of the injectors while cranking the engine. Since the engine does run, the driver can't be completely toasted, but the transistor could still be overheating.
It sounds to me like the injectors are your whole problem. Start there and see what happens.

I just disconnected the 3 ohm injector and it still has the same problem, shouldn't disconnecting it remove the problem. I did jst order some ne 24 lb accel injectors.
