Alright fellas i need major help. My 89 tpi 350 trans has gone kaput! It seems to be a problem with the computer i think. There s no gas flow to the engine and the security light popped up. i changed the ecm and the prom but the wierd thing is when my friend put his 89 tbi v6 in it, it wanted to go. So help would be very appreciated.

 

With the security light on it is a vats problem, not the ECM. Best bet is to use vats as a search term on the tech/general board and possibly the electronics board. There is a bunch of info on this.
