Will a '7747' Live Okay Under The Hood?

I am doing a TBI swap into my '72 C-20 Pickup and am using the '7747' ECM w/EBL mod. Due to space constraints currently, will the ECM be okay under the hood with maybe a Lexan cover over it?

Thanx,

Bud

I'd say no because of moisture and heat.

Computer electronics + heat + moisture = BAD IDEA

However, it MAY be possible if you create a sealed case for it where the temperature doesn't get over 115 degrees F.

Is the harness long enough to route it inside? You'd be amazed where you can stash an ECM.
